Orders for hosting, domain name registrations and services other than website design and search engine optimisation placed through TheInternetShop.Org are subject to separate terms and conditions of service as stated on that website.
Agreement to terms
Any client placing an order with Brittany Internet Services will be deemed to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.
Refusal of order
We reserve the right to refuse any order.
Quotation and Delivery
Brittany Internet Services will agree a price with you and a time frame for
delivery of your website prior to starting work. Whilst we will make every effort to deliver your site within the time frame
agreed we cannot be held responsible if any delay is outside our
control or due to third parties or clients not providing information or
materials in a timely manner.
Payment
An initial fee of 50% of the agreed price is payable at time of order
with the balance payable after approval of the design by you and before
the site is made live on the internet.
Design
All design work will be undertaken to the client's instructions and all text, photo and video files used will be agreed with the client and considered to be
supplied by you or used at your direction. We reserve the right to place a small credit and link back to our own site at the foot of your pages.
Ownership & Copyright
Following completion of your order and full payment of our invoice all
rights of ownership of the website will transfer to the client.
Copyright of any third party software or images used at the client's
request cannot be transferred and will remain with their owners.
Limitation of liability
Brittany Internet Services will not be held responsible for any loss or damage incurred as a
result of operating the website or use of the internet however this may
be caused. Neither will Brittany Internet Services be liable for any contravention of copyright of material used within the client's website.
Copies
Brittany Internet Services will upload the website to the chosen server. It is then the client's responsibility to retain an
up to date copy of the website files if they make changes. It is the client's responsibility to retain backups of their website and files.
Privacy
All information supplied by the client or gathered by us through our
website is treated as confidential and will not be passed to any third
party other than when this is required by an authorised law enforcement
authority. We will only use any information we hold to help with creation of your website or to contact you regarding business issues.
